The Times-Reporter is one of the nine daily newspapers, including the San Diego Union-Tribune, owned and published by The Copley Press Inc., based in La Jolla, California.  Copley News Service, with news bureaus in Columbus, Ohio; Washington D.C.; Mexico City; Sacramento; Los Angeles; and Springfield, Ill., is also part of the corporate family.

 

In addition to The Times-Reporter and San Diego Union-Tribune, other Copley papers are the Canton (Ohio) Repository, Massillon (Ohio) Independent, Peoria (Illinois) Journal Star, Galesburg (Illinois) Register-Mai, Torrance (California) Breeze and the Borrego (California) Sun.

As a public service, WJER makes free announcements to non profit groups to help promote their events.  Announcements are read at quarter after and quarter till the hour for one week prior to the activity on WJER AM and WJER FM.

WTUZ 99.9

 

WTUZ-FM 99.9 premiered on Tuscarawas Valley radios on May 1, 1990.  They were the first full-time FM stereo radio station in the area to program “Modern Country Music “24 hours a day. WTUZ was an instant success with Tuscarawas Country radio listeners.
