Twin City Hospital's Nursing and Patient Care Services includes five departments:

1. Emergency Services Department
2. Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit
3. Medical-Surgical Department
4. Surgery Department
5. Specialty Clinic.

1. Emergency Services Department

2. Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit: The ICU/CCU has five patient care beds and one isolation room. This unit prides itself on its collaboration and interdisciplinary approach to identify resources/services to optimize the patient's recovery. Specialists in cardiology, general and vascular surgery, and internal medicine are on staff.

3. Medical-Surgical Nursing: The Medical-Surgical Department is unique because it provides a variety of services and maximizes staff performance. In addition to serving the traditional patient population, this unit offers telemetry services, a swing bed program, outpatient treatment rooms, patient education, same day surgery coverage, hospice care, and respite care.

4. Surgery: The Department of Surgery has two operating rooms. The Registered Nursing Staff are qualified to act as first assistants in surgery. A Certified Surgical Technician also assists the physician with the operative procedures.

5. Specialty Clinic

The Nursing Service has over 50 qualified staff members with an average of 14 years of experience per person.

Twin City Hospital has staff who are certified in Medical/ Surgical Nursing, Emergency Services, Restorative/ Rehabilitative Nursing, Gerontology, and a nurse who is a member of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology.
